When I started watching Make It Right I was so sure that I would ship Tee and Fuse like a good BL girl and that would be the end of it. I like the premise of the whole show and I was settling in for a nice ride along with these two cuties. The other cast I didn’t really notice. Like not at all.
That was until the moment I saw the famous hotel scene with Frame and Book.

Yes, that was me!
I really didn’t expect anything like this in this show. It felt like quiet innocent up to that point. Don’t get me wrong. I don’t think that the whole lovescene is particular hot or anything. It’s not. But the whole idea of school boys meeting for random sex in a hotel was just… Well, cereal spitting in a way. And that’s when these two got me hooked.
They managed to walk this fine line between absolute innocent puppy love and important, real topics that it just blew my mind.
If anyone now wants to argue that Book didn’t want to have sex with Frame on that day, just needs to watch the show again as Book himself said that he had quiet a crush on Frame and was more then happily surprised to see him out of all people there. But I am loosing my train of thought. Lol.
Back to the fine line then. I loved the scene when Frame took Book to the doctor and I love that they really showed that scene. I am sure that this happens a lot more then people (guys and girls both) care to admit, but if something goes wrong in the bedroom, go to the f***ing doctor. And I love how these two schoolboys handle this situation so mature. It’s really refreshing and lovely.
It’s also amazing that we have Frame here who is clearly bi and doesn’t have a problem with that. I am sure that there are not a lot of boys out there that are able to articulate their preferences without any shame while still being so young.
Let’s move forward to the whole staying over at Book’s place where Frame utters the words that will forever make my heart sing.
“Some people say that stars are just beautiful from a far but when you are looking closer they are not beautiful anymore. I don’t agree. You are a star, a beautiful star, but now… That I am close to you… You are even more beautiful then before….
Well at least along these lines. But I love this picture with the stars so much. And I love that Frame always calls Book his star from there on.
And I mean, come on. This is so innocent and sweet and just makes this old hag all fuzzy and warm. They are just so incredible cute together. I love the fact that even though Frame barges into Book’s life without really asking if Book wants him to, he is still considered enough to not do anything that Book might not want. I think even Book was surprised by that and I think it’s something that made him fall for the tall guy even more.
But let’s just go to the final big scene between these two: when they officially get together. And again they manage being adorably cute and extremely serious so perfectly that it makes my heart hurt.
I just love how Frame opens up about his past experience and that he doesn’t believe in love anymore. And while until now Frame was always the more dominant one, now it’s Book who is taking the reign and is telling Frame basically that he is too stupid to see what kind of amazing love is just right in front of his nose.
And that’s what I love about a good couple. I don’t like this “he is the man, he is the girl, therefore he has to behave more dominant and he needs to be more submissive” at all. I hate it in hetero shows, I hate it in BL. If I want this kind of stereotypical despiction, I just stay at American daily soaps.
But Frame and Book show that a great top is also vulnerable and the best bottoms can be in charge. And they show that in such an adorable manner that it really touches you.
As you can see, I could go on about this couple until the end of time, but I might just keep that for the next blog: Frame and Book in Make It Right 2. You are welcome.
But what do you think about this couple? Did you love them as much as I did? Or did you find them boring or too controversial? Let me know. I love to discuss…
