Did You Know? Billy Wants To Fly

Helo, hello my lovely Misfits, 

And welcome to this lovely Sunday, where I have the pleasure to bring you another little morsel of unimportant BL knowledge that we all love so much. And today’s fact is about an actor I actually really like: 

Billy Patchanon. 

You know him from his roles in My Secret Crush On You or his latest smash hit The Sign. And if you have seen Billy during fanmeets you might have noticed that this man can not just act, but also dance and sing. Which in my humble opinion is not a mix too often met within our fandom. But Billy really knows what he is doing as he was once in line to be the next big KPop idol. He started singing and dancing during his university days and even made it to the final audition in Seoul for Cube Entertainment. 

Buhuuuuuut history took a different turn for our Billy. Because there was one thing that Billy wanted even more than being an idol. He wanted to be a pilot. His granddad was an airforce officer for the army and ever since middle school Billy wanted to follow in his footsteps. Unfortunately he didn’t manage to pass the exam for this. But our Billy didn’t want to admit defeat that easily. So he started studying aerospace engineering at Kaserat University in Bangkok. The plan was to just repeat the exam for pilots once he finished his degree. 

But unfortunately or, well, for us more fortunate, Billy decided differently when he stumbled into acting. He really started to enjoy what he was doing and in the end decided to stick with this. He still finished his degree in aerospace engineering, so who knows. Maybe if things ever change.. Billy might still become a pilot after all. 

But for now he is happy to bring us all the joy and bliss with his work as an actor.
